The best mom ever.

I want to talk about my mother.  I love her.  Words can’t describe how much I love her.  Honestly, I have never met a person like her in my life.  I understand what agape love is like when I look at her.  She is the embodiment of self-sacrifice for those she loves.  I have never witnessed her being selfish.  Even tonight, which may be the last “real” night for our family to be together before my sister leaves for Korea, my mother went upstairs to lock herself in her room because she caught a cold.  She told us that she’s tired, but what we found as we came upstairs was that she was still awake.  She simply sacrificed being with her daughter just so that we won’t catch colds from her.  Knowing all this, makes it impossible for me not to love my mother back.  From this, I learned that love begins with a self-sacrifice.

I hope she gets well soon… like tomorrow morning so that she can spend some quality time with my sister.
